Sam and Julia visit Grandpa Sailor at the harbour. There is plenty to discover and do, because it’s Harbour Week. During Harbour Week, boats arrive from faraway places to deliver their harvest. To celebrate, a real boat race is organised in the harbour.

Uncle Jan (who can do just about anything) teaches Sam and Julia how to build their own boat using old bottles and planks. The boat seems to float perfectly well, but during the race all sorts of things go wrong! Luckily, Julia never gives up and Sam has a clever solution for every problem.
